The National Hereford Calf Show was a useful look at the future of the breed.

The Hereford National President, Robin Irvine, made the trip from his Irish home to judge. Cleland 1 Oyster Gem 13th took 1st in her class.

Nesbitt Farms donated and presented the trophy for Champion Female at the show, won by AJ Hobson with her heifer Eldersfield 1 Roma.

The SEBHA Christmas Dinner in November was a chance to catch up with fellow breeders in a more informal setting. Finishing off our successful showing season in style, we were presented with the Lincoln Cup for the best medium sized herd in the South of England, the Warehead Cup for best stock bull in Cleland Captain and the Hawstonfold Plate for best young heifer in Cleland 1 Treat 14th.
